TCT 62: A polymer free paclitaxel eluting stent Zilver PTX versus a bare metal stent Misago for de novo femoropopliteal lesions BATTLE: a randomized trial

Presenting Author
: Yann Gouëffic

Professor Gouëffic will be presenting on the two-year findings of his BATTLE trial featuring MISAGO® RX Self-expanding Peripheral Stent.

At his one-year follow-up, presented at the Charing Cross Symposium (CX; 24-27 April 2018, London, UK), Professor Gouëffic’s findings demonstrated non-superiority of the paclitaxel-eluding stent for the primary endpoint of freedom from in-stent restenosis1.

Additionally, the secondary endpoints of patency rate, target extremity revascularization and target-lesion revascularization showed a “marked lack of significant superiority in the paclitaxel-eluting stent arm.2
