LIVE CE ACCREDITED PROGRAMS

TRANSRADIAL ACCESS FOR CORONARY AND VASCULAR PROCEDURES

Learn how transradial access can improve procedural outcomes, increase patient satisfaction, streamline care, and reduce costs. Learn clinical significance of how transradial access can effect bleeding complications and length of stay. Discuss upper extremity anatomy and perfusion tests. Understand access techniques, catheter manipulation, and the importance of low pressure hemostasis. Discuss transradial access for vascular procedures and the future direction of transradial access.

GOOD ACCESS GOOD CLOSURE

Discuss the rate of femoral access complications, the effects on patients, length of stay and the impact on the hospital. Learn how access techniques can affect closure of femoral access sites. Discuss femoral anatomy as it relates to access and closure, and complications of the femoral access site. Understand options for femoral hemostasis.

TRANSSEPTAL PUNCTURE

Review femoral anatomy and access techniques. Discuss femoral access complications and closure techniques. Review transseptal history and anatomy for the procedure. Discuss techniques and products used in transseptal puncture. Develop an understanding of transseptal procedures and complications.
